Nein, Punk Funk ist eher eine weitere kleine Schublade, im Post Punk oder No Wave. Damals, Ende der Siebziger, vermischten sich Disco und Gitarren-Sound und herausgekommen sind so geile Bands wie, Gang of Four, Blondie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, E.S.G., Liquid Liquid, the Slitts, um nur einige zu nennen. Ein Hauch Melancholie liegt über den Stücken, die er spielt und in seinem Set geht es ihm nach eigener Aussage nicht darum lediglich neue Hits von unbekannten Künstlern zu spielen, sondern schlichtweg Musik die Spass macht.
